This historical DVD captures Kisshomaru Ueshiba discussing the philosophy, history, and tradition of Aikido in 1987. Under the guidance of founder Morihei Ueshiba’s son and heir, Aikido expanded throughout the world.
The program includes his conversation with collaborator Salvador Herraiz at the legendary Aikikai in Tokyo, a reference point for his father’s art. It is completed by images of lessons and technique demonstrations from that meeting.
