Koshen Judo Japan #2 is a classic grappling arts DVD from Rising Sun, featuring Masahiko Kimura (1917-1992) and teachings from senior Budo masters.
Masahiko Kimura dominated Judo from 1938 to 1949 and later defeated Helio Gracie in Brazil in 1951 by dislocating his elbow. The program also includes eleven more top pre W.W.II Judo Masters, including Shinzo, Takahashi, and Tatsuro, teaching the secrets of Butoku Den's Nei Waza (“Groundwork”).
Set in the context of the DAI Nippon Butoku Kai pre W.W.II Japan headquarters in Kyoto, where many of these masters trained in the “Busen” in the “Budo Semengaku,” this production shows ground fighting techniques, including chokes, escapes, lock, and more.
