This DVD presents Okinawan Karate and Kobudo Legends #11 featuring Shoshin Nagamine: Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu. It offers a complete overview of Master Shoshin Nagamine in his prime and later in life.
Filmed in 1964, 1996, and 1997, the program includes empty hand kata, weapons kata, and weight training exercises related to the Shorin Ryu style. Nagamine Sensei was one of the few 10th dans in karate.
His final demonstration, shown after the Okinawan World Karate Championships where the crowd responded with a standing ovation, is included on this DVD. Approx. 36 minutes.
