This DVD features Bruce Chiu teaching Advanced Stick Sparring using Left against Right in Modern Arnis, also known as Escrima and Kali. Bruce Chiu is a former law enforcement officer and champion martial arts competitor with over 40 years in the martial arts.
He was the youngest Instructor in White Crane Kung Fu, taught by Grandmaster Ngai Yuk Tong, and holds multiple Black Belts. He was also a personal student of the late Grandmaster Remy A. Presas, founder of Modern Arnis, and currently teaches this Filipino martial art.
The DVD covers the 12 basic strikes of Modern Arnis, plus Blocks, Checks and Counters. Also included are Basic 1, 2 and 3 Drills, Sweep Stroke, Number 7 and 6 Entries, Hand Exchanges, Abanicos, Locks, Traps, Take Downs, Throws, The Big Circle Technique, Disarms, and Flow Sparring Drills.
