The Forster Bar is a gymnastics training aid made to help perfect shifting of the wrists for bar skills such as clear hips, giants, and back extension rolls.
Its octagonal ends allow gymnasts to practice skills such as a straight-arm backward roll. The bar is 17 in wide, the octagonal ends are 5in high, a rubber material covers the octagonal ends giving them a good grip on the floor, and the bar is covered in soft foam padding.
