The Fundamental Beam is a beginner-friendly gymnastics beam designed to be extremely stable, perfectly portable, and forgivingly fun.
It measures 6' long and 8" high, with an 18" wide base tapering to a 6" top working surface. The beam is filled with solid layers of crosslink that will not break down or feel mushy like competitor versions filled with softer polyfoam. It is covered in the same durable 18 oz. vinyl used on all of the brand’s mats.
Two 2" wide loop fastener strips on each end make it easy to join several beams together to fit your needs. Optional 4" wide hook fastener flaps (part# FB-105) are sold separately. Color options include Royal Blue or Red, and special colors can be made by phone order. Available variant colors also include Bright Green, Charcoal, Light Blue, Standard Green, Purple, Pink, Yellow, Turquoise, Gray, Black, Red, and Orange.
