This Stop Button, Gen 06 is an emergency stop feature for some models of treadmills by Precor.
The safety clip lanyard feeds into the stop button. It fits over the micro plunger switch in the switch mount, and when pressed, it engages the micro plunger switch to stop the machine. You can activate it with your hand while exercising or by pulling on the safety clip lanyard.
