This golf cart speed sensor with updated ADC motor magnet is made for 48 Volt Club Car DS and Precedent electric golf cart models with Advanced Motor (ADC).
It is a replacement for OEM #1027049-01 and 102704901. The part is described as meeting OEM standard and is intended to work perfectly. It may increase your golf cart IQ speed without a loss in torque, with no need to replace your gears or make any motor/controller upgrades, and it could speed up 5km per hour at least.
Installation is straightforward: flip your tow or run switch, jack up the rear of your golf cart, remove the passenger side tire, remove the 2 screws holding the speed sensor to the motor, and install the new Club Car speed sensor. Disconnecting batteries is recommended.
