The Lake Country HDO Orange Polishing Pad 3.5" x 1" is a foam polishing pad designed for long throw polishers. Its dual-layer construction helps deliver even polishing with less concern about overheating and other pad damage.
Orange pads are commonly used for fine scratches and general light swirls with a medium cut compound or polish. They can also work as a cutting pad on softer paints or as a finishing pad on harder paint surfaces for a brilliant gloss.
The HDO design combines thick and thin pad benefits with a tapered profile and exact fit style performance. It reduces lateral/horizontal movement, blocks heat transfer between layers, and uses a center cooling chamber to help dissipate heat away from the center of the pad.
