The Lake Country HDO Orange Polishing Pad 6.5" x 1" is a foam polishing pad designed for long throw polishers. Its dual-layer construction helps deliver an even polish with less concern about overheating and pad damage.
Orange pads are used for fine scratches and general light swirls with medium cut compound or polish. The orange foam can also be used as a cutting pad on softer paints or when defects are not too severe. On harder paint surfaces, it is a strong choice for finishing to a brilliant gloss.
HDO pads block heat transfer between layers and provide the advantages of a thin pad. The center cooling chamber helps dissipate heat away from the center of the pad, while the tapered shape supports even pressure distribution, good rotation, and safer use on curved and contoured panels.
