The House of Staunton Dubrovnik Series Chess pieces are designed specifically for use with the DGT Projects electronic chess board, which must be purchased separately.
This full tournament-sized set features a 3.75" King with a 1.75" diameter base. The chessmen are hand carved by master artisans, crafted from the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads.
The design is an exact reproduction of the 1970s-era Dubrovnik Chess set, used in the 19th Chess Olympiad in Siegen, West Germany and made popular by Bobby Fischer. Each new set includes 34 chessmen, including four Queens, and features sturdier bases and reinforced collars for practical play. Note: these pieces will not work with the DGT Pegasus Chess Board or DGT Centaur Chess Computer.
