The B & Co. Series Chess Set, Board & Box Combination from The House of Staunton pairs luxury chess pieces, a wooden chessboard, and a premium chess box in one complete set.
The chessmen feature a 4.4" King with a 1.875" diameter base. Each set includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, and comes with an Individually Numbered Certificate of Authenticity plus an original manufacturer's plaque with an adhesive backing for the underside of a chess box. The pieces are hand carved by master artisans, crafted from the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, and finished beautifully.
The chessboard is crafted in Italy and features Walnut Burl (dark) and Maple (light) squares with a Walnut Burl frame. This veneered board is 0.5" thick, has a gloss finish, and a beautiful moulded edge. The Premium Chess Box is lined in green billiard cloth, divided, and includes brass quadrant hinges and a lock & key.
