The chessmen feature a 3.75" King with a 1.5" diameter base. Each set includes 34 chessmen, including four Queens. The pieces are hand carved by master artisans, crafted out of the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish. The design is an exact reproduction of the traditional European Pattern Chessmen used at every major International Chess event for the past 10 years.
The Wooden Tournament Mahogany / Maple Chessboard features Mahogany (dark) and Maple (light) squares with a Mahogany frame. It has 2.25" squares, a 0.5" thickness, and a satin finish. The Slide Top Box is lined in green velour, divided, and ideal for a full tournament-sized set of chessmen.
