The chessmen feature a 3.75" King with a 1.6" diameter base, are hand carved from the highest grade boxwood, and include four Queens. They are heavily weighted, finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads, and designed with reinforced Pawn collars and oversized Rook ramparts for durability.
The included board is the House of Staunton Standard Traditional Blackwood / Olivewood Wooden Chess board, crafted in Spain with Blackwood dark squares, Olivewood light squares, a Blackwood frame, a 0.5" thickness, and a gloss finish.
