The Christmas Chess Set is a handcrafted and hand-finished wood chess set from The House Of Staunton, proudly imported from Europe. It is made from the finest natural and stained hornbeam wood and features an original design inspired by the traditional Staunton pattern.
The set has an elongated, slender appearance with exaggerated, stylized pedestal bases. The King and Queen pieces feature crowns made of the opposing wood type, creating a striking color contrast.
A complimentary chess board is included with a rich lacquered finish, traditional rank and file labels on the perimeter, and a fold-in-half design for easy storage. Inside the board are individual fitted compartments for storing each chess piece when not in use, offering strong protection. All European Collection Chess Sets are made from renewable plantation wood, making them eco friendly.
