Its original design keeps the familiar look and feel of a traditional Staunton pattern chess set, while the King and Queen pieces feature crowns made of the opposing wood type for a striking color contrast. The complimentary chess board has a rich lacquered finish, traditional rank and file labels around the perimeter, and folds in half for easy storage.
Inside the board are individual fitted compartments for storing each chess piece when not in use, offering a high level of protection. All European Collection Chess Sets are made from renewable plantation wood, making them eco friendly.
