The Lucca Series Artisan Chess Pieces are a full club-sized chess set from The House of Staunton, featuring a 4.4" King with a 1.6" diameter base. Each piece is hand carved by master artisans and crafted from the highest grade woods.
These chessmen are heavily weighted and finished with care for practical play and display. The Kings feature English Leather Embossed with House of Staunton™ Logo, while all other pieces feature luxurious Green Baize. Each new set includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993.
Every set comes with an Individually Numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer's plaque showing the production number, with adhesive backing for attaching to the underside of a chess box.
