The chessmen feature a 4.25" King with a 1.875" diameter base. They are hand carved by master artisans, crafted out of the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a rich French Polish finish.
The board is the House of Staunton Standard Traditional Striped Ebony / Bird's Eye Maple wooden Chessboard, crafted in Spain. It features Striped Ebony (dark) and Bird's Eye Maple (light) squares with a Striped Ebony frame, a 0.5" thick veneered build, satin finish, and a beautiful moulded edge.
