The Roman Chess Set is a handcrafted, hand-finished wood chess set by The House Of Staunton, proudly imported from Europe. It features a highly artistic design reminiscent of the pre-Staunton pattern chess sets of the early 19th century.
The chess pieces are made from the finest hornwood wood. The complimentary chess board is designed to provide the perfect amount of contrast for the hornwood chess pieces and has a rich lacquered finish. The perimeter includes traditional rank and file labels, and the board can be folded in half for easy storage.
