The Sultan Series Luxury Chess Set, Box, & Board Combination from The House Of Staunton brings together heirloom-quality chessmen, a crafted wooden board, and a fitted storage coffer.
The chessmen feature a 4.4" King with a 1.9" diameter base, are heavily weighted, and are hand carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods. Each set is new and includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, with gold embossed English Leather base pads under the Kings and luxurious billiard cloth base pads on the other pieces.
The included board is the House of Staunton Superior Traditional Walnut Burl / Maple wooden Chessboard, crafted in Italy with Walnut Burl (dark) and Maple (light) squares, a Walnut Burl frame, an inlaid design, a 0.5" thickness, and a gloss finish. The House of Staunton Fitted Coffer adds protected storage with individual compartments for each piece, brass quadrant hinges, a removable top tray, and a lock and key with tassel. It is available with or without The House of Staunton Logo laser engraved on the lid and can also be personalized for gift giving.
