The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish. The Chessmen are new and each set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard that was introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993.
THE CHESSBOARD
The House of Staunton Standard Traditional Striped Ebony / Maple wooden Chess Board features Striped Ebony (dark) and Maple (light) squares with a Striped Ebony frame. This veneered Chess Board is 0.5" thick, features a delimiter separating the frame and the squares and has a satin finish.
THE CHESSBOX
The Slide Top Chess Box is the most economical way to protect your chess pieces. It comes with a removable green pillow lining that allows it to hold a set of chess pieces of various sizes, from 3.0" to 4.4".
