Fighting Tiger Kinta 1881 is Malaysia’s first-ever martial arts action movie on DVD from Specialty Studios.
Set in the Kinta Valley in the 1880s, the story follows the period after tin ore was discovered and Chinese immigrants flooded the valley in the hope of making their fortune. The film features real fight scenes with real life martial artists in the cast, including 15+ former world wushu champion Ho Robin, Michael Chin, Kuan Fei, Shawn Lee, and world champion taichi exponent David Bao from China. Action choreography is by Hong Kong actor/stuntman Chin Kar Lok.
