Built by the state to fight crime; coifed super cyborg K-1 (Alex Fong) is stationed in the countryside under the supervision of self-righteous cop Dachun (Hu Jun); who's less than thrilled about the arrangement. Dachun wants to be the hero; not baby-sit a robot; especially one that shows him up and starts making eyes at his long-time crush; policewoman Su Mei ( Betty Sun). What Dachun and Su Mei don't know; however; is that K-1's program doesn't allow him to love. Amid the romantic scheming; dangerous rogue cyborg K-88 (Wu Jing) suddenly rolls into town.
