Based on the historical figure Yamada Nagamasa, the film follows a Japanese adventurer who rose to prominence in the court of the Siamese king in the 17th century. It runs 90 minutes and is in Thai with English subtitles.
The story combines love of mother land and king with very violent scenes, including plenty of blood and decapitations. It also features some of the most realistic muay thai / muay boran techniques shown on the big screen.
