Tick Tick Tick is a DVD release starring Jim Brown as Jimmy Price, elected Colusa County’s first black sheriff against the will of the Ku Klux Klan.
This DVD is not digitally remastered and has VHS like quality. The story follows Price as he is told to arrest a wealthy young white man, later arrests black militant George Harley for rape, and faces threats from the white man’s father. His Vietnam veteran deputy is beaten up by the ex-sheriff’s former partner, and Price is assisted by John Little, who becomes his deputy.
As a mob gathers, Price asks the mayor for help from federal troops. The mayor stalls, and Price and Little prepare for the mob before they are finally joined by men from a local whites-only bar.
